Well, it’s been a while since I’ve last written. So what’s new you say….

Our friends, Chris and Kerry, were traveling to Maryland to reunite with some of the folks they traveled with when they adopted Nicole. We met them at Potomac Mills and went shopping. I’ll have to admit, I was a bit tired (I worked that day and went in to work early). I was also hungry, the combination of the two made a tad cranky. Not to bad, because I enjoyed myself. We went to the Silver Diner to eat, I love that place, especially for breakfast. Well I had a great time. They sat Justine, Chris and Kerry’s youngest, in a high chair right next to me. Well I think she was just as happy as I was to eat, because she seemed to have a ball. She was eating spaghetti noodles (and playing with them too). I thought the whole thing was hysterical. Especially when she placed her sippy cup smack dab in the center of her plate of noodles. I don’t understand why Chris would say that my daughter will have me wrapped around her little finger. They came back to our apartment and stayed the night. The girls were both frightened and fascinated by our cats. I guess I should say cat, because Athena (the temperamental one) hid the entire evening and next morning until they left. Aphrodite is much friendlier and was out investigating the new folks. They left the next morning and we missed them almost immediately. That's a picture of Justine up there. Isn't she a doll baby.

We received an email from our agency about a couple in our area that is going through the adoption process. The wife's name is Barbara, I don't rember the husbands name. right now they're waiting on their referral. Well I called them and spoke with Babara and she is extremely friendly and nice. We made arrangements to get together Sunday, December 4th. I'll post more on that later.

We finally heard from the agency about our homestudy. We need to get our birth certificates and our marriage certificate together. Barbara told us we probably should think about our autobiographies as well. I guess we'll find out more, when we meet with the social worker.

If anyone is reading this, please pray that all our finances will come through and that the entire process goes smoothly.

In our Lord Jesus' Name.
